Flat Head Syndrome Treatment

Also known as cranial head remoulding. A custom made helmet or band is worn by the little one and gently channels all growth correcting the asymmetry and improving the overall head shape.

Plagiocephaly

Flattening on the side of the head. Associated movements include a shift forwards of the ear and a bossed forehead on the same side as the flattening.

Flattening to the back of the head. Associated movements include a bossed or prominent forehead, flexed temporal lobes (Above the ears), a reduced neck line at the back of the head and a wider than normal head shape.

Scaphycephaly

Flattening to both sides of the head. Associated movement include a prominent forehead, a prominent occiput and a narrow head shape.

How Does Laser Tattoo Removal Work?

The high energy laser is channeled directly at the ink for a fraction of a second. The laser beam passes through the outer layers of skin and is absorbed by the ink particles present in the tattoo. The ink particles are broken down into smaller particles which enable your body over the next few weeks to naturally disperse and absorb them with the end result being that your tattoo fades until gone completely.

How many sessions are required?

Tattoos were intended to be permanent, so how many sessions you require to remove the ink is completely dependant on a number of factors, such as; the age of the ink, the tattoo artist, whether it has been touched up or covered and obviously the colour of the ink as well as the density of ink. Some tattoos can be removed in as little as 4 sessions, the majority can be removed within 6-8 sessions.

A patch test will be required.
